Adventure Story:Lost In New York

Beginning:

Once there was a girl named Tulip who was only four-teen years old. Tulip and her family lived in Maryland. She was a very timid child. But, although she was very reserved ,   was also very impertinent  and enlightened  in school. Tulip liked to do her homework, help others and read books. She also was the oldest of her brothers and sisters . She has two younger sisters and three little brothers who were extremely agitating . In school she did not have any friends because she was not popular and did not dress as well as the other girls dressed. At home she liked to help her mother with buying groceries, cooking and cleaning. Her father worked at gas station and her mother stayed at home with the little kids. Also she was very miserable at home. So after a few weeks  go by her birthday comes up and she is waiting for her father to get home with her birthday cake and ice cream. As time flies by she starts to get a little bit anxious . Then she tries to wait for the phone to ring. And minutes later  the hospital calls and says that  her father is in the Emergency Room . Also that he was in a car accident. While hearing this news, Tulip starts to tells her mother what is going on and for the family to rush to the hospital . Not a moment too soon her father's last minute was the sight of his first daughter.

So that night she could not bare the pain much longer. She went to her mothers room and expressed her feelings to her. Tulip said to her " Mother, my pain has grown much more after father died... I need to break away from my tragedies, and move to New York.I want to be successful, and try to get us some money so we can survive.... Now that Father is gone." Her mother had nothing to say but" Do what you feel is best. But please go to your grandmother's house and tell her what happened... Tell her that you need a place to stay." Tulip response" Mother, if I go to my grandmother's house I will feel even more depressed. Knowing that she will be sad as well makes it worse." So she sits in her room and carefully think about this decision until she falls asleep.

Option A:  Tulip forgets her map and runs back to get it

The next morning, Tulip tells her mother that she is ready to travel to New York. Her mother says" Okay then, let me help you prepare for your journey." Her mother packs plenty of food, clothes, money, and other essentials. After she was ready to go, her mother starts to cry. Tulip says" Mother, why are you crying?" Her mother says" I just didn't expect you to leave so early." Then Tulip response" Don't worry mother, I will be back.. When I am older and smarter and I have my life straight. And I will always keep you in mind." Then she walked off. Her mother yelled" I Love You!!!!!" Tulip said" I Love You Too Mother!!!!!!" Then she walks off onto the road.

Option A: Tulip finds a friend to travel with.

It has been a while since Tulip has started her journey. She was very exhausted but decided not to stop. She kept going until she finds a nice place to stay for the night. She unwinds and relaxes near a dead tree and falls asleep.

The next morning, she woke up and found a monkey hanging on the tree asleep. It was not just any monkey. It was motherless and small. So, she carefully picked it up and it woke up calmly at her. Immediately, they became companions and she set foot back on the road with a new friend.

Weeks went by as Tulip and her friend were traveling day and night. They both began to grow . To be more mature, and smarter than the beginning. That's when all of their hard work was achieved. Tulip has finally reached New York! Her face has never lit up so bright before. This was the most happiest time in her life.

That night, she went to her grand mother's house. At first, she did not recognize Tulip. Then Tulip said, " GrandMa!! It's me! Tulip!". Her grandmother responded"  "OH. My Sweetheart! How are you?" Then they went inside and told her grandmother everything. It did not end well, but as the time went by, she was there for her grand mother, and life was well.

Option B Ending: Tulip goes to New York and move in with a friend.

While walking down the rode Tulip spots a diner to get something to eat. In the diner she orders two pieces of toast and a cup of orange juice, then she gives the man her money and pays for her food with the ten dollars her mother gave her. Trying to wait for her food Tulip noticed that her train was coming. She runs out for the train and forgets her  food, on the way there she was hungry. So the whole ride there she was so hungry her stomach was growling. The train stops  and she notice that shes there, shes gets off the train drowsy and hungry. With no food and money Tulip didn't have no choice but to go into a shelter for a night or two. Continuously she's feeling alone and homesick, she sees this girl that was about  16 years old. So she decided to ask her for help and her name. Her name was Angel, she was tall, graceful and a very dark girl. Every since Tulip and Angel were friends. After staying in the shelter for about 3 weeks Tulip and Angel found a apartment. Tulip was so delighted she had told her mother to come up to New York to come see there apartment and see that she had made it on her own. Angel and Tulip had got a job at McDonald's and they both is a manager at different McDonald's. Finally Tulip mother had sold her house and moved up to New York.  The End.!

Lesson Reflection:Google Search

• How will you use the tools you've learned about Google Search for your other classes?
• Which tool do you believe you will use the most? Why?
• Which tool do you believe you will use the least ? Why?

The way I would use the tools I've learned about in Google Search for my other classes are by using them for my homework assignments. Also, I would use them for when I am studying for test. The tool that I believe that I will use the most is the "Find Meanings" , and "Site Specific". I think I will be using these tools the most because in Rela, we will most-likely be getting a lot of vocabulary word sand in Science, we will most likely have a lot of websites to look up. The tools that I believe that I will use the least is "Linked Pages" , and" Numerical Pages" . I think I won't be needing these tools because when I look for information, I do not look for the specific date, or the pages that link on to it
